Treatment
Step By Step Treatments

1. Examination and Planning
The dentist makes a first examination and takes one or more x-rays of the area to prepare for the procedure.

2. Placing Dental Implants
The implant is installed. At this time, a temporary tooth is provided that allows you eat and function like normal almost immediately. The implant will need a few months to integrate with the jawbone before the next step is taken.

3. Attaching the new crown
The final step is the placement of the permanent ceramic tooth. The new tooth is installed for life. No additional treatment is needed.

4. End result
You should expect the new tooth to fit and function just like a natural tooth. Do your usual dental hygiene to keep the tooth and gum around it clean and healthy.

Advantages :
People are now living longer lives than ever before. Therefore, it would seem prudent to seek a quality dental replacement that is going to last you for the rest of your life. While dentures and removable bridges are usually loose and unstable, dental implants are both natural looking and extremely functional. Dental implants will look and feel much better than any kind of removable bridges. They will also offer the same biting force as any kind of fixed bridges. Single tooth implants are strong, require less care and will look and feel just like natural teeth. There is no longer any reason to be embarrassed by a missing tooth. With modern dentistry techniques it is possible for everyone to have a beautiful smile.

Disadvantages :
Dental implants are a major investment and not without risk. The extensive use of implants can cost tens of thousands of dollars to achieve the best results. If you require a number of dental implants the procedure can be very time consuming. The placement of dental implant is a very complicated surgical procedure and we cannot stress the importance of seeking out a well credited cosmetic dentist that you personally, are comfortable with. For some people there can be varying degrees of discomfort or pain but this usually subsides in a couple of days. As with many other types of surgery, bruising and minor swelling may also develop shortly after the procedure. The implant itself will last you a lifetime but the crown (false tooth placed on top) will need to be replaced in ten to fifteen years.
